Infestos invests in majority interests in companies or entities within large conglomerates that are not core business, companies in financial distress, companies in need of a strategic refocus and family-owned businesses with succession challenges. In short, companies for whom a sustainable future is an uncertainty.

The focus in this activity is on Dutch, industrial companies with unique market positions, products or technologies. Quality of the management team is not necessarily a decision criterion. When, for example, there is not a suitable management team available within the company, Infestos will search for and implement the right management team; meanwhile, Infestos will take responsibility for managing the company by making use of experienced professionals within her own organisation and network. Infestos has ample experience with managing mid- to large-sized companies.

As the goal is to provide for a sustainable future for the company, the term of an investment in a company is not fixed beforehand. In our experience, the term of an investment differs strongly per company; however, in general it is a minimum of 5 years.
